2008 Foals

Check back often as we will post photos and information as the foals arrive.

We welcome our first foal of 2008, on Friday Morning 3/28/08, at Azariah Miniatures.
Proud parents: Houcks Cinderella and Little Kings Dynamite Dream
Azariahs I C U Prince Charming
(pending AMHA/AMHR registration)

Our little Prince Charming is an outstanding foal, we sure are pleased with what Cinderella and Mighty have blessed us with this year. His temperament is kind and loving, coupled with a very confident, bold attitude! He has an outstanding head, incredible shoulder angle, short back with an absolutely flat topline, long straight legs, with a beautiful, showy, floating trot. This colt is extremely tiny, refined and correct. He should mature between 27 and 28". Prince Charming is AMHA Futurity Nominated. And.....look at the presence this little colt shows. He will get the judges attention! He will make a fantastic show horse and future herd sire, as his bloodlines are quite strong. What more could we ask for?

Azariahs Absolut
(name pending AMHA/AMHR)

A beautiful silver dapple or silver smokey black filly ( will be tested to see what she carries) with a big beautiful star. These photos are taken at 12 hours old and she is maturing into an elegant, outstanding filly. A leggy filly with an elegant neck and head, great shoulder angle and outstanding light, animated movement. She has got the attitude we want for the show ring. Just what we anticipated from this cross. She has a 7.75"- just under 8" cannon bone and should mature in the 32-33" range. She will be an outstanding show filly and will add quality to any breeding program. Photos will be updated as she matures.

Registered Name Pending
"Chaps"

Hunt House Farms Cowboys Brandy and Little Kings Cowboy Buckeroo blessed us with a healthy colt after a normal delivery (finally) June 4, 2008. His AMHA registered name is pending, but his barn name is "Chaps". He looks like he has a pair of chaps on his hind legs.

He is a lovely red chestnut with a dun stripe, loud pinto w/ lots of paw prints and chrome. He is all legs, correct and very refined. We anticipate him to mature in the 31" range.
Look for more photos as unfolds.

Foal expected by Little Kings Dynamite Dream
an outside breeding to a lovely appaloosa bred mare.  Due Mid FEBRUARY!  His first foal.

Foals expected by WF Gold Medallion
at Azariah Miniatures at Meadowind Farm

No foals due for “Leo” in 2008

Mini Bits Cupcake

Sadly, Cupcake and Leo lost a lovely golden palomino filly with a big star in mid February 2008.  She was born too early to survive (280 days) due to a problem with her umbilical cord.

Reflections A Little Bit Lacey CBY

Lacey slipped her foal and is currently open.

WF Huskers Afterglow lost her 2008 colt by Little Kings Dynamite Dream, stillborn on April 7, 2008 due to the foal being positioned incorrectly for the delivery. He was perfect, balanced and beautiful, with long legs, a short back, great shoulder angle and LONG neck, and outstanding head, but was just not meant to grace us with his beauty here on earth.
Our thanks to Dr. Jennifer Karl and Dr. Boyd Henderson of Henderson Veterinary associates for their hours of help and their expertise in saving our dear mare, Glow.
Glow is doing outstanding after quite an ordeal. We will consider breeding her if she is ready for it in late spring or summer for a 2009 foal. For now, she is being allowed to grieve and heal.

Keep Checking.  We will post the results of this breeding on this page.
